City Club had previously announced that our September forum would be back in person at the Riverhouse. However, the recent COVID-19 pandemic mandate has caused us all to make difficult choices.  Many organizations are canceling/postponing events and the trend appears to be more of the same. Chances are you’ve had an in-person event cancel recently. We have.

In the abundance of caution and for the wellbeing of our community, we will not be proceeding with the in-person portion of the September forum. It was a difficult decision to make but we know it is the right one for the health and safety of our volunteers, guests and the greater Central Oregon community. We look forward to the time we can meet again in person and hold physical space for conversations significant to our region.

What is affordable housing and what does it take to create? Listen to our panel of experts discuss regulations, requirements, constraints and opportunities for creating more affordable housing in our region.

When: September 16 (Thursday) | 12-1pm
Where: cityclubco.org/live

Speakers:

  • Mike Reeder: Land-use attorney and board member, Housing Land Advocates
  • Cory Bittner: Vice President, Pahlisch Homes
  • Tyson O’Connell: Principal, Wishcamper Development Partners

FACT SHEET: Biden-Harris Administration Announces Immediate Steps to Increase Affordable Housing Supply

Time for audience Q&A after the presentation. We encourage you to send us questions prior to the event. Please submit your questions to info@cityclubco.org.
