The City of Redmond is beginning construction of Phase 2 for the Reservoir Drive Improvements project, from SW 43rd Street and SW 39th Street. Due to the nature of the work of Phase 2, including the replacement and installation of underground utilities within the roadway, a full closure is required beginning April 28, 2025. Construction is slated to be completed by fall 2025.
Phase 2 of the Reservoir Drive Improvements project details, status updates and necessary detours will be available on the project website at redmondoregon.gov/reservoirdrive.
This significant infrastructure project under the City’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP) spans from SW 39th Street to SW Helmholtz Way and will increase safety and mobility in the area. This project includes installation of new pavement, curbs, sidewalks, bike lanes, waterlines, storm collection systems, and sewer lines. These improvements are designed to bring this older street section up to current city standards, ensuring a safer and more efficient roadway for all users.
Phase 1 of the project was completed in February 2025, which stretched from SW Helmholtz Way to SW 43rd Street.
