COCC Center for Business Offers Fall Professional Development Courses Across Central Oregon

Central Oregon Community College’s Center for Business is offering a wide range of professional development opportunities this fall, with courses available in Bend, Redmond, Madras, Prineville and online. The upcoming schedule includes training designed for business owners, managers, supervisors and professionals looking to build new skills or advance their careers.

The Bend campus will host courses including Starting Your Business in Central Oregon, Project Management Fundamentals, Spanish for Customer Service, Non-Profit Leadership Essentials and several Leadership Lab@COCC programs covering topics such as emotional intelligence, accountability and delegation.

In Redmond, offerings include Real World Project Management, Forklift Operation and Safety, Creating a Culture of Psychological Safety and Contractor’s CCB Test Prep. Madras will offer Excel Level I, while Prineville courses include the Crook County Management and Supervision Series and Excel Level I.

Online options are also available, including Starting Your Business in Central Oregon, a Spanish-language version of the course, Real Estate Broker and Property Manager license exam preparation, and HR Certification Prep for the SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP exams.
