Coldwell Banker Bain, a leading provider of real estate brokerage services throughout the Pacific Northwest and a market leader in home sales in 2019, has donated $24,590 to Northwest Response, collected from a Wildfire Relief Fund it launched to support residents impacted by wildfires in Oregon and Washington.

Northwest Response was developed by KING 5 in partnership with the American Red Cross. As of September 11, the Red Cross was estimating response costs would run between $250,000-$2.5 million for Washington and more than $10 million for Oregon.

The CB Bain effort includes donations from its brokers and employees collected through September 30, with the company matching all donations — no matter the size. Said Mike Grady, president and COO, “We have all been heartbroken by the devastation we’ve seen in many of the areas in which we operate. While so far we’ve been fortunate with only a handful of brokers and employees reporting displacement or other impacts, we are aware of the challenges in several of our communities and wanted to do something to help.”
