Consumer Cellular is looking to hire around 50 people from Bend and Central Oregon. The wireless carrier is offering competitive rates with full benefits for its Redmond contact center, and is now offering full-time remote, full-time-in-office or hybrid schedules. Consumer Cellular is allowing individuals to choose how many days they work from home or come into the office, and create a customized schedule to meet their needs.
They are also in the process of introducing a part-time work option. This is a direct result of the pandemic, as the company found that it is able to provide the same award-winning customer service whether employees are in the office or working remotely.
The company currently employs around 300 people.
The hiring event will be on June 18 and 19 from 10am-to-2pm. In celebration of Father’s Day, the company will also raffle off a Traeger smoker for anyone who applies during the event.
