The Republican Party of Jefferson County is proud to announce the 16th year of Central Oregon’s premier political gathering, Burgers & Politics. This gathering will honor the victims and survivors of 9/11 as well as the first responders who braved that assault on our nation. We recognize all who continue to honor our great country with their patriotic service.
On September 11, 2021, between 1-5pm, the Burgers & Politics event will take place at Over the Edge Tap House, 13959 SW Commercial Loop Drive, Crooked River Ranch, OR 97760.
As in past Burgers & Politics gatherings, we will reserve a solemn moment of reflection to show our resolve to Never Forget 9/11. Many local Republican elected officials as well as statewide candidates who have thrown their hat in the ring for various positions in the 2022 elections will be introduced. This is your opportunity to meet the brave men and women that want to make a difference in our state and to ask the questions that are important to you.
This family-friendly get-together offers you a great chance to get to know and be informed by current elected officials and Republican legislators from various parts of the state, including Jefferson, Crook and Deschutes counties. Oregon Senator Dennis Linthicum will be our keynote speaker and will share with us the victories and challenges our party faces statewide and how each of us can have a voice and make a difference.
This will be an informal event with a town hall feeling. Admission and music are free! All food and beverages will be discounted, and we will have raffles and an auction you will not want to miss! Kurt Silva will provide inspiring music as we mix, mingle, and meet like-minded neighbors, officials, and candidates.
