The Central Oregon Winegrowers invites you to attend Explore Your Curiosity about Central Oregon Wine Grapes at 6pm Tuesday, July 20 at Redside Ranch, 9695 NW Lower Bridge Way in Terrebonne. The entrance to the vineyard is across from Borden Park.

Redside Ranch Vineyard Manager Kerry Damon will share the history of growing grapes in Central Oregon. He helped establish Central Oregon’s first commercial vineyard, Monkey Face, at Ranch of the Canyons. Learn about the future of wine grapes in Central Oregon and how new vineyards are being planted with both vinifera and hybrid grapes.

Damon has a vast knowledge of what has worked and what hasn’t to successfully plant, grow and harvest hybrid grapes. He is eager to share information on successful vineyard management practices. He will discuss what makes Redside Ranch unique and what future vineyard owners need to know about selecting a site and vines, planting vines, managing canopy and more in Oregon’s High Desert.

Please bring your water bottles, a snack and a chair. Wear shoes suitable for a tour of the vineyard. Invite friends or colleagues. The event is open to all.

RSVP to Kerry at fishrock.khd@gmail.com by Monday, July 19.
