Déjà Vu Interiors in Sisters

If you’re looking to give your home or office a spring makeover, sprint over to Déjà Vu Interiors’ new Sisters location and stroll though their spacious showroom of previously-owned, gently-used furniture and décor. The original Bend business first opened nearly twenty years ago and now owner Kelly Rogers and his family have recently opened a second store just east of Ray’s Food Place in the Outlaw Station shopping plaza., bringing a tasteful collection of quality western, modern and traditional furniture to the Sisters community.

“This is a perfect spot and we’re happy to be up and running, with more furniture coming in every day,” Rogers said. “We had watched this specific location since they built it, and suddenly the time was right. The family really felt there was untapped potential in this surrounding area for experienced furnishings and the response from residents so far has been great. They’re thrilled to have us here and we’re thrilled to be here so it’s working out for all of us.”

Déjà Vu’s basic business plan is a relatively simple and straightforward contract. They do a standard 60/40 consignment split with their customers, accepting newish or barely-used furniture and displaying it on their expansive 6000-square-foot showroom floor for a period of 90 days. Prices are reduced 10 percent after 60 and 90 days, then dropped 50 percent for a final 10-day closeout. Those pieces of merchandise that go unsold have the option of returning to their original homes or being donated to charity.

Pick-up service for area consignment furniture is free and customers can choose to have their purchases delivered locally for a fee of $45.

The roomy new location enables Déjà Vu to present their varied array of coffee tables, dinette sets, end tables, lamps, couches, bar stools, dressers, headboards, bookcases, loveseats, kitchen chairs, throw pillows, designer accents and wall art for furniture-hunting clients to pore over at their leisure.

“Our inventory is constantly changing so we encourage people to stop by often,” added Rogers. “The best part of this business is the satisfaction of having the right furniture for people to successfully decorate their homes. In Sisters, we can be highly selective about what we carry and that to me is what will allow us to be successful here and meet the community’s needs.”
