The lunch is tasty and the company is lively at the event the Latino Community Association (LCA) hosts each December. But the point of the Empowering Families Luncheon is to raise funds so Latino families in Central Oregon can gain education and skills so their families can thrive.

This year, LCA invites you to join our staff and board members from 11:30am to 1pm Thursday, December 1, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 61980 Skyline Ranch Rd. in Bend. Or you may join us from the comfort of your home or office via Zoom.

Marcos Rodriguez, LCA board member and co-owner of Hola! Restaurants, will serve up his famous Mexican and Peruvian cuisine in the beautiful sunlit UUFCO fellowship hall. LCA staff will highlight the tremendous growth of its programs in the past year and share client success stories.

You can connect with other compassionate and caring people, join our family of supporters, and contribute to the success of our Latino families in Central Oregon. Your contributions will help us move to a larger Redmond location to house our growing staff and volunteers and support our expanding English, computer and citizenship classes.
