We are excited to announce that the online auction for Hospice of Redmond’s annual fundraising event, Festival of Trees, opened today, Giving Tuesday, for early bidding. The online auction runs through December 4, culminating with a televised auction at 7pm on KBNZ, Central Oregon Daily. There are 24 locally decorated Christmas trees available for bidding to support various hospice services and programs.

This year’s Festival of Trees showcases 24 beautifully decorated trees with values ranging from $750 – $5,000. There is also a wine tree that will be raffled. Each tree is a visual celebration that features a unique theme, and many of the trees include gifts that support the theme. One such tree features lodging in Whistler Village, Canada, and another tree consists of a four-night stay in Mexico in an Airbnb that sleeps up to 16 people. Online bidding runs November 30 – December 4. Select trees will be available for bidding during a televised auction on December 4 from 7-8pm on KBNZ, Central Oregon Daily. Online bidding and viewing of trees can be found here.

“This is the premier event of the season, and we are fortunate that 38 years since its inception, Festival of Trees continues to be a family and community favorite. Our tree decorators have outdone themselves by creating gorgeous works of art, and we are eager to see the excitement build as members of our community participate in this year’s auction,” said Jane McGuire, operations manager at Hospice of Redmond.

We hope that you will share this news with your readers. One hundred percent of the funds raised at Festival of Trees stay in Central Oregon to provide hospice services to those in need. I have attached a press release to provide further information and details on this upcoming event.
