EDCO Announces the Made in Bend Touring Companies

0

The annual Made in Bend Tour is your chance to see the inner workings of some of the creative and innovative companies that are making products right here in your own backyard.

This is the first year that EDCO non-members are invited to join the festivities, which include breakfast, virtual tours of three local companies and an amazing swag bag of goodies.

See below for the three companies that we will be touring this year. And don’t wait to sign up. This event always sells outs!

This year’s Made in Bend Tour will be similar to a drive-in movie theater…but without the cars and with a morning showtime. Oh, and it’s BYOC — Bring Your Own Chair. We’ll stream-in virtual tours, giving attendees a glance at the inner workings of local companies creating amazing products. The outdoor location will be set up complete with LED screens and a sound system. The virtual tours will be followed up with live Q&A with the tour companies.

Touring Companies

Pawket Treats is a dog food manufacturer focused on creating portable treats with in-house manufacturing based in Bend. Their all-natural, superfood products are perfect for training your four-legged friend. Their new Dog Treat Dispenser was recently launched on Kickstarter and became the most-funded dog treat project in the history of the platform after just three weeks. (pawkettreats.com)

Nosler, Inc. is a family-owned company most known for revolutionizing the hunting bullet industry. With the company motto of Quality First, Nosler manufactures premium component bullets, reloading brass, ammunition, semi-custom rifles and their own line of family-stamped hunting cartridges. Their products are used worldwide by discriminating hunters, shooters, military and law enforcement professionals. (nosler.com)

Outdoor Ukulele began in 2012 with the intention to manufacture a quality instrument in the US at an affordable price. The soprano size ukulele was officially launched in 2014, followed by the tenor size in 2016. With the success of their first two instruments, they launched a breakthrough banjolele in 2019 and a travel guitar in 2020. Impressively, they’ve sold over 20,000 instruments.(outdoorukulele.com)
