The Family Access Network (FAN) recently received a $1,000 grant from Trinity Episcopal Church in Bend. These funds will be used to provide ten children and family members in Central Oregon with crucial basic-need resources such as housing, healthcare, warm clothing, nutritious food and much more.

“We’re so lucky to have Trinity Episcopal Church in our community, and are so grateful for their support of FAN throughout the years.” Julie Lyche, FAN Executive Director. “

Trinity Episcopal Church is located in downtown Bend, and has a developed history of giving back to Central Oregonians in need. One of the church’s main focuses is community outreach, with a special commission to raise and distribute funds to nonprofit organizations that serve the needs of the local community and beyond.

Unique to Central Oregon, FAN began in 1993 and currently employs 25 advocates in 52 public schools (K-12) and early childhood sites in Deschutes and Crook Counties. The direct placement of FAN advocates within the public schools allows FAN to effectively reach and connect disadvantaged children and families to essential basic needs.
