You finally made it outside. With backpack ready and hiking boots on you hit the trail. No easy feat in today’s busy world, where we spend less than 8 percent of our time outdoors. But what happens when its time to grab your gloves or down jacket from your pack and you can’t find them? Now one adventure gear company with a commitment to creating functional adventure gear vows to put an end to lost time and disorganization by offering a simple and easy solution: the SegSac.

Now your items are strewn all over the trail, your bag up-ended and all your hard work to pack neatly has gone out the window.

A disorganized backpack can cost you precious time on the trail, time you could have spent hiking another mile or pitching your tent before sundown. Those who enjoy an active lifestyle know the value of making the most of their time outdoors. Why waste any of that special time searching for lost items due to inefficient packing?

What if you could find EXACTLY what you are looking for in less time, allowing you to spend more time enjoying what you set out to do?

This organizational stuff-sack fits inside any backpack or duffel bag, allowingtravelers and hikers to find what they need quickly. Whether you are trekking in the mountains or hostel hopping, the SegSac will keep you organized throughout your journey. No more mess in the bottom of your bag and missing the sunset.

Designed for an active lifestyle, the SegSac is ultra light, incredibly durable, and folds to the size of a dollar when not in use. With just four compartments, it’s easy to keep track of your gear. The SegSac is organized adventure in a bag.

The benefits of the SegSacare more than about saving time, says SegSac inventor Chez Brungraber. It’s also stress-relieving.

Brungraber, with a double degree in biology and economics from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in horticulture from UC Davis turned down two jobs on Wall Street after college to pursue her true passions – being outdoors and working with plants.

“I have been working as an environmental consultant since 2006 and my husband and I own a small consulting firm, where we spend about four to five months a year working in southern California,” reports Brungraber. “This means yes, we hike around the wilderness looking for endangered species, for a career. It’s truly amazing.

“The rest of the year we live in Bend and travel as much as possible. During this time I work on Gobi Gear, which started out as a side passion – as most entrepreneurial stories go, there was a product I wanted but couldn’t buy, for my international hiking and backpacking trips, so I made one. It was pretty cool, so I made 3,000 more. When those sold out, I realized, whoa, I have a company here.”

That is when she ran the Kickstarter campaign in July 2014. “That campaign was a huge success, we raised 420 percent of our funding goal,” said Brungraber. “This last year I have spent a lot more time on Gobi Gear than in the past and now have a full time employee and about seven contractors working for us. And yes, I still made it to San Diego for environmental work last spring and it was wonderful.

“As someone who works quite a bit and suffers from being somewhat disorganized, I struggled with finding the time to get outside and enjoy nature. By being more organized with the SegSac, I am able to pack quickly and efficiently, and enjoy the benefits of such while on the trail. I spend more time outside and am much more relaxed, knowing where my gear is at all times.”

With the SegSac extensively tested and approved by the most active users, Gobi Gear’s SegSac will be available for pre-order through Kickstarter in October 2015. To learn more about the Gobi Gear’s SegSac bottle, visit http://gobigear.com/pages/segsac.
