Cairn, the first-to-market outdoor subscription box service, adds three new members to its team in the areas of marketing, operations and customer service. Cairn has driven impressive growth since its inception in March 2014 and now ships in excess of 10,000 boxes per month.

“Cairn is at a pivotal point in our development. We are expanding our team in order to continue to provide consumers and brands with best-in-class experiences,” said Rob Little, CEO and founder of Cairn. “We are changing the way that brands and consumers discover one another. This requires a creative, passionate, and energetic team focused on building an engaged community.”

Jennifer Dinan joins Cairn as a member of the marketing team with a focus on marrying the brand’s digital presence with the adventures that Cairn inspires in the real world. Prior to Cairn, Jennifer worked in the hospitality industry where her approach to marketing hotels and resorts was to feature the experiences enjoyed and memories made while visiting a destination. This experience-led mindset aligns well with Cairn’s offering, which goes well beyond the box – from the joy of receiving a monthly surprise in the mail to the adventures the surprise will inspire. When not on-the-job, Jennifer takes to the trails to enjoy hiking, camping and backpacking with her husband and Australian Shepherd.

Adding to the operations team, Brent Poole joins Cairn to direct fulfillment and logistics. Prior to Cairn, Brent honed his skills as Director of Coffee for a Seattle-based subscription coffee company. While there, he developed supply chain systems that successfully helped grow the company through the opening of four retail coffee locations. Additionally, Brent’s role in the design of quality assurance programs resulted in the recognition of top rated coffee roaster by Wine Enthusiast Magazine. Brent’s strategic approach will add value to Cairn by bringing together resources and processes to meet brand goals. When not managing Cairn’s fulfillment process, Brent can be found among Bend’s 280 miles of mountain bike single-track, hiking with his wife, or in search of the perfect cup of coffee.

Every brand needs a voice that can quickly respond to consumer inquiries and needs. Enter Ashley Berrevoets, Cairn’s new Brand Hero and customer service guru. Ashley is the voice of Cairn, communicating directly with subscribers and managing customer accounts. She ensures subscribers are curious and excited about Cairn, while assisting them with their questions and needs. Prior to joining Cairn, she perfected her ability to drive brand growth and build a loyal customer base in the apparel industry. Ashley recently moved to Bend to be closer to the outdoor activities she loves including car camping, hiking, SUP, kayaking and climbing.

Little added, “The Cairn team shares a passion for the outdoors and for bringing the Cairn brand to life with the community we’ve created. We want to get more people outdoors, exploring and adventuring, including ourselves!”

Cairn is the first-to-market outdoor subscription box service, delivering monthly boxes of curated outdoor products and inspiring enthusiasts to get outside. Based in Bend, Oregon (an outdoor mecca), the team shares a passion for the outdoors and is able to actively test all products to ensure the best experiences are delivered to subscribers’ doorsteps. Each subscriber becomes a part of a community reviewing products to provide brands with feedback for next generation development. Cairn’s ultimate aim is to inspire and equip people who love the outdoors with products to help them make the most of their time outside. www.getcairn.com.
