Google Hosting Free Seminar to Help Oregon Businesses Get Online

On August 6, Google and Congressman Greg Walden will bring the Oregon Get Your Business Online program to Bend. Google experts will help small business owners create their own websites courtesy of Startlogic. Businesses will also receive a customized domain name, free web hosting for one year, a local business listing on Google Maps, free tools, training and other resources. Google experts will be on hand to train the business owners on how to reach more customers online.

Congressman Greg Walden will be kicking off the event, and noted how it can help Oregon businesses: “As a small business owner in Oregon since 1986, I know that small businesses must constantly learn new skills to grow and thrive. That’s why I’m proud to join with Google to bring this exciting workshop to Central Oregon.
