An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. This has been a pretty standard comment from most of our grandparents, and who could have guessed how accurate they actually were when it comes to healthcare. There are quite a number of preventative health strategies out there in the media and many different tests for medical prevention that need to be considered.
While many of these have value, there are also some worthless tests and treatments that are often promoted in the media, and consequently, the discernment regarding which tests or treatments are valuable to YOU specifically should be left up to your physician.
As a primary care internal medicine physician, my goal is not only to help take care of more sudden onset illness or medical problems, but to manage your long term medical conditions no matter how complicated, and to help develop a health prevention strategy designed specifically for you.
I am happy to discuss all of your medical problems and answer all of your questions, as well as promote specific tests or treatments which may benefit you in the long run by preventing specific illness in order for you to enjoy life to its fullest, and remain as active as possible.
I have been an internist since 1996, practicing in Redmond since 1999. On June 1, 2014 I changed my medical practice to a different type of practice in order to accomplish the goals which I have discussed above. My standard medical practice just didn’t allow me the time required to sit down with a patient and fully discuss their medical problems, evaluate their condition, review their medications and come up with a diagnostic and/or treatment plan.
My new practice allows me and my nurse to spend an hour with a patient on each visit in order to perform a more comprehensive health care assessment. We also offer same or next day visits, direct phone access to my nurse and myself and email access for non-urgent questions. Along with this, we offer entirely in-home medical visits (these used to be called house calls). We are also able to see a patient in their office if so desired. We wish to make healthcare as comfortable and convenient as possible.
Imagine a patient, or perhaps your parent with impaired mobility, being seen in their own home or assisted living facility. We can save you the time, cost and hassle of having to get out to your doctor’s office and wait in the waiting room.
We are Integrity Wellness. We practice medicine a little differently. We want to serve our patients needs and desires while providing excellence in healthcare. I am not in practice to force a patient to take a medicine or have a test done.
I will discuss what options could benefit you the most, and discuss the potential upside and downside of the test or treatment in order for you and I to come to a conclusion based on yourdesires for your healthcare. If you are interested in this type of primary healthcare provision, and want a physician who will spend time with you as well as be responsive to your questions and concerns in order to keep you healthy for your longevity, then check us out or give us a call at www.IntegrityWellness.net 541-420-9482.
