HerbAdvisors.com, the first video-based website aimed at the more educated, underground marijuana user introduces its initial collection of review videos, found at www.HerbAdvisors.com, and on their YouTube channel.
HerbAdvisors.com targets mainstream users: well-educated and more affluent, who are generally unaware of the different strains or may be trying marijuana for the first time after legalization. The highly produced videos come from a former TV Weatherman, turned Xbox Producer, turned entrepreneur with the aim of being short, informative and entertaining within :30 to :60 second snippets.
Five staff reviewers, chosen for their personalities and ability to identify with the average user, cover everything from strains, to edibles, to products and even craft beer pairings. An educational series titled Intro To Herb, serves as an introduction to everything herb-related and can also serve as an educational resource for concerned parents.
“There is a huge group of people like me who have had a relationship with marijuana for decades, but don’t identify with the “stoner” stereotype. We’ve been underground for years because we are professionals with families and community reputations. But now with the emerging legalization trend and the stigma rapidly disappearing, this demographic is about to become the new mainstream,” said Scott Elnes, founder of HerbAdvisors.com.
In 2016, the amount of people having access to legal recreational marijuana is projected to grow from 7 million to over 70 million. The marijuana industry itself is projected to skyrocket to a 10-40 billion dollar industry in the U.S. by 2018.
David Ordonez, owner of Top Shelf Medicine, a medical and recreational dispensary, is quick to point out “these videos are not only a great resource for the end consumer, but I can use them as a sales tool to help my customers make informed decisions. It doesn’t hurt my bottom line.”

There are dozens of video-based marijuana websites filled with review videos of different strains and smoking/ingesting utensil instructions, so I did get a chuckle out of the ridiculous claim that this website is “the first”.
Not even close!!
Websites like Leafly.com, TheCannabist.co, which are significantly more professional and house exceptionally greater content, have been around for years!!
Absolutely nothing new or original with this effort. I believe the guy behind it is the same guy who ripped off another idea and video (a tourism video from Leavenworth, WA.) just a year or so ago and failed miserably.
Like that previous effort, this one will surely fail as well.
