We are now enrolling for our spring session that begins Wednesday, May 15 and takes place every Wednesday from 11am-12:30pm for seven weeks.

Heroes Horsemanship is a non-riding group class that offers Veteran, First Responder, and Active Military participants a chance to connect with an equine partner to develop foundational horsemanship skills including haltering, grooming, leading and routine care. Emphasis will be placed on developing a safe and positive relationship with your horse as you define what it means to work together as partners.

Classes are held once a week for seven weeks. Each class will focus on a different theme as it pertains to partnering with horses: context, care, communication, connection and collaboration.

Upon completion of the classes, you will have an opportunity to invite family and friends out to meet your equine partner and get to know Healing Reins.

  • Dates: Wednesdays: May 15, 22, 29, June 5, 12, 19 and 26 for Friends & Family Day.
  • Time: 11am-12:30pm
