There are a few seats still available at next Natural History Pub, “Wildflowers, the Missing Link to Sage-Grouse Recovery?” on Monday, January 8 at McMenamins Old St. Francis Theater in downtown Bend!
The greater sage-grouse is a primary health indicator for the sage-steppe, the largest ecosystem coterminous in the United States. Despite ongoing conservation efforts to control invasive plants and wildfire, sage-grouse populations continue to decline.
Please join Dr. Josh Collins, Chair of the Sage Science Team for the East Cascades Audubon Society, to learn about the Society’s research into native forbs, or wildflowers, as the missing link to sage-grouse recovery.
RSVP at the link below! We hope to see you there.
