High Lakes Health Care & Praxis Health Launch New Co-Branded Identity

High Lakes Health Care, the leading provider of primary care in Central Oregon, has completed an extensive rebranding effort with its parent company, Praxis Health. The new brand identity includes a redesigned logo and website developed for a family of community-based practices across the region.

This rebrand comes with a focused effort to provide patients with strengthened and simplified interdisciplinary care between High Lakes Health Care and other Praxis Health clinics in the region including Desert Orthopedics, Cascade Gastroenterology, Aspen Mountain Dermatology, Pacific Crest Neurology, Urology Specialists of Oregon, Endocrinology Services Northwest and Alpine Physical Therapy.

The community will see the new look on all public faces of High Lakes Health Care, including  their website and social media, and very soon on mailings and billing, buildings and other messaging. Clinic officials believe the new look better matches the company vision: Deliver individualized patient care that is the Northwest’s most advanced, convenient and human.

“Our patients know High Lakes Health Care as the leading provider of primary care. What many don’t know is that we are part of a network of 31 independent practices including several specialty clinics,” said Dan McCarthy, Central Oregon administrator for High Lakes Health Care and Praxis Health. “Our hope is that this rebrand will help our patients understand that Praxis Health clinics, though still independent, are uniquely connected to one another. This delivers a great benefit to patients in terms of access to referrals, high quality care and simple communication between their care team members.”

Designed by Maricich Health to work effortlessly across digital and physical channels, the new logo evokes a feeling of health and positivity. The “flower” of primary colors signifies the clinic’s traditional approach to health care, with a clean, modern feel. The individual clinic names remain the same while the addition of individual “petals” reflect each clinic’s autonomy and independence, in a color palette that, like Praxis Health, works together. The inclusion of “Praxis Health” reminds patients of the strong backend system that keeps communication and billing running smoothly. The rebrand also elevates Praxis Health as they work to recruit the very best providers in the Northwest.

Praxis Health is not a new partner of High Lakes Health Care. The healthcare network, based in Pendleton, Oregon, has been trailblazing personalized patient care for Oregonians for more than 50 years and has been a managing entity of High Lakes since 1996. Outside of Central Oregon, Praxis Health operates family practice, specialty and urgent care clinics in Beaverton, Canby, Eugene, La Grande, Lake Oswego, Oregon City, Portland, Pendleton, Salem, Springfield and Tigard.

“All Praxis Health clinics practice medicine in a similar manner, and that’s one that is authentically Oregon, serving our neighbors and community,” said McCarthy. “Whether it’s in Bend, Salem or Pendelton, our patients receive physician-led care that is proactive, individualized and aligned with the specific healthcare needs of their community.”

While its look has changed, the overall experience at High Lakes will stay the same. High Lakes Health Care patients can expect the same high-quality care from the providers and staff they know. The clinic will continue to be referred to by its legacy name, “High Lakes Health Care.” And patients of multiple Praxis Health clinics will continue to be able to access their digital medical records, test results, appointments and provider communications from a single online patient portal.

“As one of the Praxis Health specialty clinics, the rebranding will help us immensely,” says Sarah Darby, director of surgical services for Desert Orthopedics, Cascade Gastroenterology and Urology Specialists of Oregon. “The common look reminds patients and referring providers that we are part of the same family. Patients love and trust their High Lakes Health Care providers, so when they get that referral to Desert Orthopedics or one of our specialty clinics, they can be confident it will result in the same level of care they’ve gotten from High Lakes Health Care.”
