Experts Present Topics for Breast Cancer Survivors & Those At Risk

St. Charles Cancer Center is presenting a simulcast of Susan G. Komen Oregon and SW Washington’s 18th annual Breast Cancer Issues Conference on Saturday, March 5, at the St. Charles Bend Conference Center, Classroom B. The conference is from 8am-3:30pm and the $15 registration fee includes a light breakfast and lunch. For those who wish to receive continuing education units, registration is $50.

The conference will simulcast presentations covering topics including targeted breast cancer therapies, lifestyle and diet choices that can reduce risk and improve outcomes and life after a breast cancer diagnosis. Participants will also have a chance to learn more about Central Oregon services for breast cancer.

Distinguished experts, including keynote speaker Annie Parker, a three-time cancer survivor and author of the book Decoding Annie Parker, will cover breast cancer research and treatment.

This is the third time the conference will be simulcast statewide, making it possible for more people to attend at St. Charles Bend and in other locations throughout the state.

Space is limited. For more information and to register for the conference in Bend, visit komenoregon.org or contact Alycia Downs at 541-706-7743
