Kôr Community Land Trust announced a $125,000 grant from Meyer Memorial Trust to support the development of a permanently affordable homeownership community, Crescita, located at 2500 NE Eighth Street in Bend’s Orchard District. It is Kôr’s second homeownership community developed in partnership with Housing Works of Central Oregon.

The grant award will support the construction of five more permanently affordable homeownership cottages built to goal net-zero energy standards. The mixed-income community is designed to serve Bend’s workforce earning between 30-120 percent AMI both now and for generations to come.

Kôr Community Land Trust will open its housing lottery in October for income-qualified and mortgage-ready interested homebuyers.
