Magic Cycle Werks, an emerging handcrafted custom steel bicycle company located in Bend, will premier their new 2016 All Road model, the Esker AR, at the Philly Bike Expo, Philadelphia Convention Center November 7–8.
Magic Cycle Werks, has exhibited at the North American Handmade Bicycle Show (NAHBS), the Interbike Trade show (Las Vegas, Nevada) and will display for the first time at the upcoming Philly Bike show in the Schwalbe North America booth. Magic Cycle Werks, who builds bikes one at a time, will premier the Esker AR in custom pearl orange.
The Esker AR is a classically styled “All-Road” bike with a relaxed BB height that is just high enough to allow for clearance of obstacles on the trail or the race course, and has a wheelbase long enough to allow for calm handling any time the road points down. It is designed so the trail is in that “sweet spot” requiring a little bit more of a deliberate input when entering a turn.
An all-arounder, that performs on fire roads, single track, the urban jungle, and the local cyclocross race (if the urge strikes), the Esker AR is custom steel bike that both racers and aspirational racers will appreciate.
Established by Greg White, an avid cyclist for over 30 years who raced in Europe for an Italian team, Magic Cycle Werks builds handcrafted custom bicycles the old school way…one at a time. Magic Cycle Werks, which relocated from Los Angeles to Central Oregon this year, builds classic steel frames for Road, Cyclocross, All-Road (Adventure/Gravel) and Mountain bikes to the individual rider’s specifications.
