Make it an All-Local Thanksgiving in Bend, Oregon

0

Central Oregon Locavore’s pop-up Thanksgiving Food Faire is your chance to start a new tradition—an all-local Thanksgiving meal! From 11am to 3pm on Saturday, November 22 at Locavore’s market at 1216 NE First St. in Bend, Central Oregon’s favorite farmers, ranchers and food producers will gather to sell a bounty of local meats and seasonal fresh produce as well as wines, spirits and dessert items.

Shopping at the Thanksgiving Food Faire is the answer to making Thanksgiving truly special this year—it’s a great way to find wonderful local foods and gifts, and spend your dollars on local farmers. The Food Faire also benefits Central Oregon Locavore, a nonprofit organization that’s been promoting a local, sustainable food system in Central Oregon since 2010.

Locavore is dedicated to improving access to fresh, in-season, nutrient-dense, local food and educating the community about the benefits of sustainably produced food from local farmers and ranchers. Visit the Locavore market to help promote a more ecologically and socially just food system, public health and diversification of the local economy.
