Mosaic Medical, a private, nonprofit health center, has served the Central Oregon community since 2002. For nearly 20 years we have helped to make basic healthcare services more accessible to anyone in our community needing care. As the region has grown, the need for our services has grown as well. We’ve provided — and continue to provide — expanded essential services for all, including medical, dental, behavioral, pharmacy, nutrition and more. Mosaic Medical meets patients where they are — physically, culturally and financially.
With expanded services in mind, we did not hesitate when Jefferson County approached us to share in the construction of a new, larger building with Jefferson County Public Health in Madras.
While Jefferson County residents are strong and resilient, the county has ranked as one of the lowest in Oregon’s annual County Health Ranking for health outcomes. We are working to improve these health outcomes with this new health home in Madras, which will double our medical exam rooms, add three dental chairs, include a pharmacy open to the community and provide easy access to specialized medical services such as labs and x-rays.

HOW YOU CAN HELP
We could not be more grateful for the financial support we have received from the State of Oregon and the in-kind donation of land from St. Charles Health System, but we cannot make this project happen without the help of our community as well. To ensure that the new Mosaic Madras Health Center comes to fruition, we must raise $11 million — and we only have $1.4 million to go! We are currently meeting with community members throughout Central Oregon to garner their support, and we are grateful to all those who have contributed to date.
