New “Highly Enlightened Discussions” Event To Take Place in Bend

Celebrate Cannabis and Oregon Cannabis Association to Co-Present Event

Celebrate Cannabis and the Oregon Cannabis Association announced today that they are co-presenting a new pub-talk style event, “Highly Enlightened Discussions,” focused on innovation and evolution in the cannabis industry. Clifton Cannabis Law is the sponsor of the event which will take place July 19 from 5-11pm at McMenamins Old St. Francis School located at 700 NW Bond Street in downtown Bend.

The event will feature industry networking, a variety of speakers, food and drink, followed by more networking and social time by the fire pits at O’Kanes.

The speakers and topics for the evening will include:
· Hunter Neubauer, co-owner of Oregrown and board member of both Celebrate Cannabis and the OCA will moderate the event

· Amy Margolis is the Founder of The Initiative and The Commune, of Counsel at Greenspoon Marder LLP, and the Executive Director of the Oregon Cannabis Association

·  Lisa Uri, M.D., is board certified in both Family Practice Medicine and Integrative Medicine and will be presenting “Cannabis in Modern Medicine”

· Jeremy Kwit, founder of Substance Market, presenting “Normalization as Innovation”

· Lindsey Pate, co-founder of Glass House Grown, presenting “The 420 Agreement”

· Stan Hammet, Director of Operations of Juniper Analytics, presenting “Crafting Workable Cannabis Regulations”

Tickets are available at Eventbrite, and are free to Celebrate Cannabis and OCA members, while the non-member ticket price is $10. The ticket provides entry to the event, one free drink and light appetizers.
