Express Employment Professionals is one of the fastest-growing staffing franchises and native Oregonian Bill Stoller, founder, CEO and chairman of the board of Express Employment Professionals International, is excited to announce his new role as owner of the Bend Express Employment Professionals franchise.
Joining Stoller in this venture is fellow Oregonian Jenny McCallum, president, developer and Franchise Partner of several existing Express franchise locations across Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Arizona and Nevada.
“Jenny and I are honored and humbled to carry on the legacy that veteran Express franchisees Connie Worrell and Stephanie Miller have each instilled within the Bend and Redmond communities,” Stoller said. “This special opportunity to blend two Oregon family legacies and furthering the Express mission to create sustainable employment opportunities in our community is a dream come true.”
The acquisition of the Bend Express franchise adds the location to the Stoller Group of companies, including Specialized Recruiting Group, Express Healthcare Professionals, Xenium HR, Stoller Family Estate and the 28 Express Employment Professionals locations in Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Arizona and Nevada.
McCallum began her career with Express Employment Professionals in 1996 as a temporary associate. That opportunity transitioned into a 24-year career-path, leading to her present tenure serving as the president, partner and developer of the Express Employment Professionals franchises within the McCallum Region.
“Express is founded on the principle of helping people succeed,” McCallum said. “Connie and Stephanie are the embodiment of that principle and we’re excited to expand on the framework they created in Bend as we advance our core company values of Integrity, Teamwork, People, and Build to Last.”
McCallum credits Worrell and Miller for helping shape her career journey, noting Worrell’s mentorship served as a key pillar of her success.
“On top of being an iconic business leader, Connie is the kind of mother and grandmother I aspire to be. Her mentorship has been a true gamechanger in my professional life,” McCallum said. “Thankfully, I’ve also had the opportunity to grow up with Stephanie in this business, working alongside her for the last 23 years. These relationships further cement the honor it is for us to continue the success and legacy of helping people find jobs in Bend,” said McCallum.
Joining the Bend team as franchise manager is Chris Petty, who has worked in the Hillsboro Express franchise location for four years. Hand-selected from the Express emerging leadership program to relocate to Bend, Petty brings his childhood love of the Central Oregon area and his many years of sales, staffing and leadership experience to his dream career journey in Bend.
“It is a privilege to team up with Jenny and Bill to continue a history of hope through employment across the Bend community,” Petty said.
Rounding out the Bend team, Petty will work alongside 23-year staffing veteran and managing director and professional recruiter for the Bend office, Karen Turner.
“We have navigated some great and challenging times, together, and it has been an honor to serve with Connie, my coach and champion, and Stephanie, my ‘partner in crime,’ on the Express Bend team for the last 23 years,” Turner said. “I’m thrilled to continue their passion while supporting the community I love alongside Jenny, Bill and the entire Stoller Group of companies.”
The Express office is located at 61379 South Highway 97 in Bend, and local businesses and job seekers are encouraged to stop by the office or call 541-389-1505.
“We truly believe that a job can be a turning point in someone’s life, and we’re looking forward to continuing the legacy built in the Bend community as we help people find great work, by helping businesses find great people,” McCallum added.
