Southside Physical Therapy, Inc., a locally owned, private physical therapy office, is changing ownership. Bend couple, Jonathan and Morag Sampson, both physical therapists, who have been part of the Southside Physical Therapy team for 18 years, have taken over the reins from Laura Goold, an occupational therapist. Goold will continue to work at SSPT, specializing in Lymphedema management.
Goold OTR purchased SSPT from Anita Elsey PT in January 1997. Morag and Jonathan joined the practice in April 1998, after moving to Bend from England. Jamie Chiapetta MHS, PT joined in September 2000.
“We are thankful to have therapists with such an extensive knowledge base, and really feel that our tagline of: Experience, Expertise, Results is representative of the care that SSPT offers,” states Jonathan.
“We would like to thank Laura for giving us the opportunity to buy SSPT, and the staff for staying on. We would also like to thank all the patients for bringing us their injuries, pains and funny stories” says therapist Morag Sampson. “We have a wonderful staff that is like family, who have been with us a long time. We are looking to add another Physical Therapist in the near future to continue to provide the superior service and results that Southside is known for. We love Bend and Central Oregon and are excited to be able to continue to provide care for our patients.”
