Unique Pedal Powered Vehicles for Rent
Enjoy the paths along the Deschutes River with Wheel Fun Rentals. The business is excited to announce that they are opening up for the 2013 season on Friday, May 3. Located in the Old Mill District, Wheel Fun Rentals rents bicycles and unique human powered vehicles for touring in and around the Old Mill District and surrounding areas of Bend. Spring hours start May 3 and will be Friday – Sunday, from 10am to 6pm, weather permitting.
Wheel Fun Rentals has a fleet of over 50 unique vehicles for rent, including: single-speed and multi-speed bicycles, tandems bicycles, three wheeled bikes, Deuce Coupes, Choppers, Quad Sports and covered Surreys that seat between two and 11 people. Also for rent are kids bikes, Tag-alongs, trailers, baby joggers and Norge Boards – the land version of a Stand Up Paddle Board.
“This year, we are excited to introduce our new Triple Surrey–a pedal powered carriage that seats up to nine adults and two small kids. A great activity for families, birthday parties, wedding activities and team building activities,” says Joanie Krehbiel, owner of Wheel Fun Rentals. “You can even visit breweries that are on the Bend Ale Trail by bicycle.”
Wheel Fun Rentals Bend opened in the Old Mill District in 2009 and is a locally owned and operated franchise of Wheel Fun Rentals. In addition to the Old Mill District, they operate at Eagle Crest Resort, Black Butte Ranch and the Phoenix Inn – Bend.
