Gardner Williams, SIOR, and Erich Schultz, SIOR, of Compass Commercial Real Estate Services recently closed three office lease deals in the Old Mill District for owner River Bend Investors 1, LLC.
“The Old Mill District is the most dynamic office market in Central Oregon,” Williams said about why tenants are showing interest in The Old Mill. “The area is just minutes from downtown and Highway 97. Plus, these properties offer ample free parking and are near or adjacent to The Old Mill Shops and the river. With rates where they are today, tenants can upgrade their office spaces at bargain prices.”
Businesses taking advantage of these opportunities in the market include:
- HDR Engineering, which has moved into 2,000 square feet of space in the Mill A building at 805 S.W. Industrial Way. Compass Commercial partner Howard Friedman, CCIM, co-brokered the deal with Williams and Schultz.
- Wells Fargo Advisors, which has leased 10,407 square feet of space at 320 S.W. Upper Terrace Drive. Eric Turner co-represented the tenant with Schultz.
- The American Red Cross, which is relocating to 8,200 square feet at 815 S.W. Bond Street, the former home of Lifewise. Darren Powderly, CCIM, of Compass Commercial represented the tenant with Williams.
