Eberhard’s Dairy Products proudly announces their 60th Anniversary this month. As the oldest operating family business in Redmond the business was started August 15, 1951 by Jack and Nelda Eberhard with the help of their two high school sons helping after school.
Today, Eberhard’s Dairy is 47 people strong with over 800 years experience in the dairy business which averages out to 17 years per person. Over the years they have more than quadrupled their square footage, expended and remodeled over 12 times and boast the largest (7,000 square feet) and coldest (-20°) freezer in Central Oregon.
“We are proud of our past and excited about our future” says Bob Eberhard. Today, Eberhard’s Dairy is owned and operated by 2nd generation Bob and 3rd generation Mark.
Expanding the product line to meet the needs of a growing Central Oregon, Eberhard’s Dairy is a full line processing dairy producing milk, half and half, whipping cream, cottage cheese, sour cream butter and 20 flavors of ice cream which are distributed to over 1200 customers via refrigerated trucks throughout Deschutes, Crook, Jefferson, North Klamath, Grand and Harney Counties.
