Dr. Knute Buehler, candidate for Oregon Secretary of State in 2012, formed his exploratory campaign – Getting Oregon To Work – just three weeks ago. Yet, the campaign is already picking up steam and drawing the attention of major Oregon donors.
After only two weeks of fundraising, Getting Oregon to Work has received over $45,000 in campaign contributions. Dr. Buehler also recently announced that the campaign has hired a leading Oregon fundraiser, Lori Hardwick who managed Chris Dudley’s fundraising in his 2010 bid for Oregon Governor.
When asked about his campaign’s initial fundraising success, Dr. Buehler said “I am both humbled and exhilarated by the moral and financial support we’ve received thus far. People are excited about Getting Oregon to Work. Oregon is primed for new executive leadership in The Secretary of State’s office. Oregonians desire someone from outside state government to tackle the monumental problems we all face.”
