Savory Spice Shop in Bend’s Old Mill District will open this Friday at 375 SW Powerhouse Drive. Owner/operators and Bend residents Matthew and Betsy Perry are bringing their passion for food and spices to the new shop, which specializes in more than 400 fresh ground herbs and spices, 140 hand-blended seasonings, organic selections and gift sets.

Created in Colorado, the company began franchising the concept in 2009. The Perry’s store in the Old Mill District will be the first Savory Spice Shop in Oregon.

Savory Spice Shop offers custom fresh ground herbs, spices and seasonings. The product is ground and blended to order weekly to ensure superior freshness.  Customers are encouraged to sample products and have packaged only the amounts that they need, starting at as little as a half ounce.

Originally announced last August, Savory Spice Shop Bend is opening its doors on Friday, October 14 at 10am. More information on the shop can be found at www.facebook.com/savoryspiceshopbend.
