Beat’s the Nutcracker – The Play with Dance for the Whole family

0

Take your young ones (all ages) to see The Story of the Nutcracker – A Play with Dance (not the ballet!) – adapted by Michale Vaca and directed by Pat Kmiec.

Kmiec directed Chorus and the first performances of Chicago at CTC and has performed in and directed many other shows in Bend.

This veteran teams up sixteen of Central Oregon’s finest young actors and choreographer and BEAT’s artistic director Mary Kilpatrick who has performed on Broadway and nationally toured and most recently was seen as Matron Momma Morton in Chicago at the Tower. She has also directed memorable BEAT plays including A Christmas Carol and West Side Story. All will bring this classic to life for your family. The play is accompanied by wonderful dance and by Tchaikovsky’s fabulous music.
