The Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs will open the new Indian Head Casino on this Saturday, February 4. The new 24-hour Casino on Hwy 26 will open to the public at 6pm. The casino replaces the casino which was located at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort.
The casino is located on Highway 26 in Warm Springs across from the Museum at Warm Springs. The relocation of the casino will offer convenient access to travelers along the Highway 26 corridor and for residents in Central Oregon.
Designed by The Worth Group out of Reno, Nevada and constructed by Penta Construction also of Nevada, the new 40,000-square-foot building features design elements highlighting the fishing scaffolds at the historic Celilo Falls and the Columbia River. The casino will offer 500 slot machines, 8 Blackjack tables and also include casual dining in the Cottonwood Restaurant with seating for 120 people, the 24-hour Tule Grill with seating for 30 and the Cedar Basket Gift Shop.
