Brookswood Meadow Plaza to Welcome Two New Businesses in Early 2012

It looks like 2012 will prove to be a very Happy New Year for residents of the south Bend area as Brookswood Meadow Plaza will soon be welcoming two new businesses to the retail and social hub located on Amber Meadow Drive.

Local Slice, a brand new pub-style restaurant specializing in pizza and small-plate seasonal items is expected to open in early Spring, and The Offices @ Brookswood, a first-class executive office facility with 11 offices and two conference rooms opened its doors in early February and caters to professionals looking to move into a turnkey setting for a short or long-term time period.

Local Slice owner David Touvell, who is also the proprietor of Chow on Bend’s Westside, says the new Pizza restaurant will offer locally inspired dine-in, take out, take-and-bake, and delivery based on sustainability and supporting the local economy.

“One thing that people love is Pizza and we are very excited to serve it up in a family-friendly space that will have a modern, comfortable and artistic feel,” said Touvell. “We are planning a diverse menu, including fresh ingredients from right here in Central Oregon with both meat and vegan options. We’ll have Bend beers on tap, wine, local music from time to time and some patio seating as well. I am going to be having quite a few open houses for the community, so get ready to mark those calendars.” Local Slice will be located just a few doors North of Snap Fitness at 19550 Amber Meadow Drive in Suite 120.

The Offices@Brookswood is a brand new first-class executive office facility with a bright, modern feel.  Its private offices are now available for lease.  Most come furnished and all include dedicated internet, local phone service with phone, utilities, maintenance, and janitorial service among other amenities.

“An open, bright reception area, kitchen, and two conference rooms add to the unique benefits of the space,” commented Cricket Kadoch, who will manage the facility. “For individuals looking to upgrade from a home office or for a group of associates who want to collaborate in a shared space without the headache of leasing a building, this is the perfect spot. And, with a grocery store, coffee shop, gym, preschool and restaurants in the same complex it’s also about a lifestyle.”

The Offices can be found at 19570 Amber Meadow Drive, Suite 150, in the same building as the River Rim Coffeehouse.  Open house events are in the works for later in February.  Interested parties can call (541) 323-3370 or visit www.officesab.com for more information.
