The Technology Education Center, on the corner of Veterans Way and Salmon Drive in Redmond, will house technology-centered programs. Due to a very favorable cost estimate, the size of the building has been increased by 4,000 square feet to 34,000 square feet. Design is proceeding, with the goal of bidding the project this July, and completion is anticipated by September 2013.
A 2,300-square-foot addition to Building 1 at the Redmond Campus will house a new 48-seat classroom and 24-seat science lab. Remodeled space within Building 1 will accommodate a 34-seat computer lab. Design work has been temporarily suspended while additional funds are pursued for this project. The goal is to bid the project in March or April of this year with construction beginning this summer.
