(New York, NY)—Vogue Knitting is launching small Exclusive Destination Weekend Experiences in various unique locations across the country for knitters to come together, learn from a knitting expert and enjoy the camaraderie of their fellow knitters.
For its debut destination experience Vogue Knitting has partnered with Imperial Stock Ranch/Imperial Yarn, near Shaniko, Oregon and Imperial River Co. in Maupin, Oregon for their first one-of-a kind knitting getaway experience.
The premier Vogue Knitting LIVE Destination Experience will include:
- Inspirational knitting classes with world-renown knitwear designer and bestselling author Nicky Epstein
- An authentic ranch experience at Imperial Stock Ranch, where attendees will tour the heritage operation, wrangle sheep, watch some amazing dogs at work and hang out with cowboys all while taking in the breathtaking views of the Oregon high desert
- Shopping at Imperial Yarn, where enough yarn is available for purchase to keep attendees’ needles clicking for quite some time
- Welcome reception featuring Vogue Knitting Editor in Chief Trisha Malcolm and Imperial Stock Ranch Owners Dan and Jeanne Carver
- Cowboy entertainment provided by local musician Bob Connolly
- Relaxing lodge experience located on the banks of the Deschutes River, where attendees can sit by the fire pit knitting, chatting, and enjoying the view.
