COCC’s Small Business Development Center and Economic Development for Central Oregon are welcoming Oregon InC to Central Oregon on Friday April 6 at 2pm to discuss The Next Generation of Jobs.
The OregonInC program will be at the COCC Redmond Campus on April 6 to share how it can help local businesses. Oregon InC harnesses private sector leadership with Oregon’s universities to commercialize cutting edge research; revitalize established industries through innovation; help startups access capital, and provide Oregon businesses with access to otherwise out-of-reach R&D labs and researchers.
Interested business people will be able to share needs, concerns and ideas with:
- Sen. Betsy Johnson (D-Scappoose) – member of the Joint Committee on Ways and Means and ex officio member of Oregon Inc
- Rep. Tobias Read (D-Beaverton) – member of the Joint Committee and Oregon InC
- John Morgan – Chair of Oregon Inc, currently Executive Vice President for Regence and former CEO for HemCon medical devices
- Ryan Deckert – President of the Oregon Business Association and vice-chair of Oregon Inc
- Ivo Trummer – head of Global Strategies for the Oregon Business Development Department
- John Doussard – Policy Analyst, Oregon Business
