Premium Verizon retailer opens new store
Cellular Sales, the nation’s largest Verizon premium wireless retailer has opened its newest store at 1120 U.S. Highway 97, Suite 300 in Bend.
“We want to provide the best environment for our customers to get the care they need,” said Jeremy Passamonte, regional director of Cellular Sales. “Our new store in Bend is a prime example of that effort.”
Cellular Sales was founded in Knoxville, Tennessee 19 years ago and has, for the past four years, been named by Inc. Magazine one of the nation’s fastest growing privately-owned retailers. The opening of the new store has created 12 new sales positions, all of which will be filled by local job-seekers.
According to Passamonte, the wireless retail store’s opening will provide a boost to the local economy not only by the creation of new sales positions but also because Cellular Sales’ employees nationwide average over $51,000 a year, a sum higher than the U.S. median household income.
