Abilitree (formerly C.O.R.I.L.), Central Oregon’s provider of diverse programs and services to all people with disabilities, has launched an on-line wine auction to help raise money for its new facility, The Abilitree Center for Independent Living.
The auction was launched on May 14 and will stay open through 5pm on Thursday, May 31 at which time the highest bidders will be awarded their prizes. The site is being promoted to local people, businesses, golf clubs, wine clubs and wine enthusiasts throughout the Northwest.

Abilitree Executive Director Jim Lee stated, “We’re always looking to raise money, but now is a critical time in our history as we are moving from our current facility on Twin Knowles to our new space – The Abilitree Center for Independent Living, which will be in a highly visible and central located building in Bend. This auction is part of our effort to raise over $150,000 to get our new facility up and running.”
Stephanie Curtis, President of Jackalope Consulting, who is managing the auction stated, “We are so excited to be hosting this unique fundraiser for such a wonderful cause. This auction contains only six packages, but they are each amazing! Packages include some of the finest wines in the world, winemaker autographed collector’s bottles, lunches & dinners at places like 900 Wall, The Victorian Café and 10 Below at the Oxford Hotel. Other luxuries include Jewelry, massages, golf, gift baskets and so much more! The two VIP packages even include flights to Walla Walla, use of a Porsche for the weekend (fuel included), a limousine winery tour and even a stay at the famous Marcus Whitman hotel in Walla Walla!”
