Keynote Speaker: Shelley Gunton
Gunton chaired the Angel Oregon Conference in 2011 and is the current Executive Director of the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Portland State University. At the CIE she is responsible for building infrastructure to support and catalyze entrepreneurship and innovation across the campus and with the Oregon Health Sciences University. The CIE helps create new companies and elevate PSU’s profile as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurial activity
Early Stage Presenters: Good Peeple
Rys Fairbrother and James Gentes are graduates of the VentureBox business accelerator program, where they joined forces to launch a product that helps businesses generate customer testimonials and referrals through Facebook.
Their new company is a Facebook application called Good Peeple and it “helps friends find trusted businesses.”
Craft3 Info from Brad Hunter
Craft3 is a certified non-profit Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) serving urban and rural communities of Oregon and Washington. Craft3, formerly known as Cascadia Revolving Fund, works with entrepreneurs, non-profits and others that deliver economic, social and/or environmental benefits to local communities and the larger region.
Brad Hunter joined the Craft3 team in 2011 as an Associate Lender and assesses the need and local capacity to build a lending program.
