Mid Oregon Credit Union has a long history of community involvement and support, and is well-recognized for their efforts by winning the Northwest Credit Union Association’s Dora Maxwell award for 13 years running. This award is presented to credit unions for outstanding community involvement efforts.
Their involvement embraces the community by supporting countless organizations, services and events, including the Free Family Saturdays at the High Desert Museum, Supplies 4 Schools, Mini Grants for teachers, United Way, Healthy Beginnings, Crooked River Roundup in Prineville, Crook County Foundation with Picnic in the Park, the St. Charles Foundation, Rotary Clubs, The Great Drake Park Duck Race, Boy Scouts of America, Economic Development of Central Oregon, the local Chambers of Commerce, OSU Cascades, COCC, Central Oregon School Districts and Foundations, just to name a few.
