Businesses today are increasingly at risk of crises that disrupt day-to-day operations and damage hard-won reputations. From viral social media and litigation to negative industry sentiments and natural disasters, the majority of businesses are ill-prepared to address and communicate through these diverse crises.
The Advertising Federation of Central Oregon will present a new AdBite program on November 29 featuring LT Public Relations’ President, Casey Boggs who will discuss today’s business crisis landscape and how businesses and nonprofits can best prepare communications efforts before, during and after a crisis.
LT Public Relations serves the communications needs of financial and professional business sector clients. Boggs directs the strategic communications efforts for national and local banks, credit unions, insurance companies, investment advisory firms and corporations in the $500 million to $20 billion range of assets.
Attendees will learn the importance and the fundamentals of sustaining a strong, ongoing public relations effort, while preparing the company for unexpected crises—including social media tactics and the essentials of sustaining strong communications with customers and the communities the company serves.
