Sale of Clean & Green of Bend facilitated by local SCORE counselor
Clean & Green of Bend was recently acquired by Keely and Uriah Manley of Bend. Clean & Green of Bend has provided environmentally friendly cleaning services for commercial and residential clients in Bend since 2007.
Keely and Uriah Manley were both raised in Bend and attended Bend High School. Before acquiring Clean & Green of Bend, Keely was the deli manager at Country Catering & Deli; Uriah’s background is in sales. “We are thrilled with the opportunity to serve our clients with the best environmentally friendly cleaning services available. I love providing great service to clients, and I know that there are many more clients who will want to upgrade to our cleaning approach,” said Manley.
The Manleys were introduced to the founder of Clean & Green of Bend, Ginny McCutcheon, by SCORE counselor Susan Massey. Massey is a member of the Central Oregon chapter of SCORE, a national nonprofit association dedicated to helping entrepreneurs start, grow, and succeed. SCORE is America’s confidential source of free small business mentoring and coaching, with more than 12,000 business experts who volunteer as mentors. “I was so pleased that SCORE was able to help both Ginny and the Manleys achieve their business objectives,” said Massey.
Seller Ginny McCutcheon originally contacted SCORE for help selling the business. “When I contacted SCORE for help selling my small business, I had no idea that they might actually be able to refer a prospective buyer to me. I am so grateful for the introduction and Susan’s impartial support during the sale negotiation process,” said McCutcheon.
The new owners of Clean & Green of Bend will soon undertake a marketing program with the goal of expanding their client base.
