Many local food and beverage vendors will be at the party providing samples of their delicacies and the store will be stocked with unique gift ideas to help with the holiday shopping crunch. “This is one of our community’s favorite events of the year,” said Lovejoy’s Manager Diana Franko. “We will have Christmas Trees for sale, a free craft for kids and great holiday gift and food options in all of our departments. On the food side, we offer a wide range of deli trays, wines, meats, cheeses, and sweet treats to complement any gathering. Some of our other simple and unique gift items include kitchen gadgets, locally made soaps, clothing accessories, lottery tickets, and Oregon Sno-Park Permits. We have gift cards for many major retailers as well. There is a little something for everyone really.”
In the spirit of the season, and throughout December, shoppers are also invited to participate in Lovejoy’s Help Fight Hunger campaign, which will benefit the Bethlehem Inn with donations of bags of groceries. Each $10 cash donation at the register is matched by the Market with a total of $20 worth of food items being be delivered to Bethlehem Inn after the holidays. Over 50 bags were collected as part of last year’s Help Fight Hunger campaign.
