City Club of Central Oregon January 17 Forum features BEND2030/ACCELERATE BEND Update

0

At City Club of Central Oregon’s January forum, a panel of BEND2030 board representatives will share the results of ACCELERATE BEND, highlighting top projects that are already moving forward – or are poised to launch.

Organized around the vision’s six focus areas, they include:

• Well Planned City – Central Area Plan Advancement

• Vibrant Economy – Economic & Business Development Collaboration

• Quality Environment – Deschutes River Reach Project

• Safe Healthy People – Community Health & Wellness Initiative

• Strong Community – Center For Hope

• Creative Learning Culture – Higher Education Innovation & Enterprise District

The panel presentation will engage the audience in discussing these ideas and how to accelerate them

– putting some of our most influential community leaders in touch with their community’s aspirations. Come to the January City Club Forum and participate in accelerating our community vision!

Questions to be addressed will include:

Which accelerator project captures your imagination?   Which would do the most to make for a better Bend?   How do we make them happen?

Is there a way you might contribute?

City Club of Central Oregon once again sets the stage for this engaging, and more importantly relevant

conversation that you will not want to miss!
