AirLink Critical Care Transport announceD the expansion of membership benefits in the Northwest. Recently, REACH Air Medical Services and Cal-Ore joined the AirMedCare Network, an alliance of more than 200 air medical helicopters and airplanes located throughout 27 states, creating America’s largest air medical membership network.
“With the addition of REACH and Cal-Ore in the AirMedCare Network, AirLink members now have expanded coverage in the Northwest,” said Kevin Schitoskey, AirLink Program Manager. “If an AirLink member is flown by a REACH or Cal-Ore air ambulance, their AirLink membership will prevent them from incurring any out-of-pocket air medical transport expenses not covered by their insurance plan.”
AirLink and REACH provide emergency air medical transport services to critically ill or injured patients to the nearest appropriate medical facility. With more than 52 years of combined experience, AirLink, REACH and Cal-Ore have safely transported more than 98,000 patients.
REACH and Cal-Ore have established bases of operation in Brookings,
“We are excited to have REACH and Cal-Ore join our family,” said Schitoskey. “The addition enhances our west coast air medical capabilities and increases the reciprocal coverage for our members, providing them with financial piece of mind when traveling beyond the borders of home.”
