Mid Oregon Credit Union Announces New Chair of the Board

Mid Oregon Credit Union Board of Directors has named Janet Uffelman of Prineville as its new chair. The announcement was made at the Credit Union’s 56th annual membership meeting that convened this month in Bend.

Mid Oregon also announce the re-election of two directors, incumbents Bill Kopacz of Sunriver and Patty Stell of Bend. Each will serve three-year terms. Mid Oregon’s Board of Directors set the Credit Union’s strategic direction and policies. Because credit unions are not-for-profit cooperatives, Mid Oregon Credit Union Directors serve voluntarily and are elected by the membership.

In making the announcement, Chair Doug Nelson said “We look forward to the service and leadership of these volunteers. Mid Oregon Credit Union and its more than 22,000 members will be well-served by the experience, skill and enthusiasm that these leaders bring.”
