OSU President Ed Ray to Deliver State of the University Address in Bend

As efforts continue this spring to secure capital funding for the expansion of Oregon State University’s branch campus, OSU’s President  Edward J. Ray will visit Central Oregon on Monday, May 13 to deliver the State of the University address.

Community members, as well as OSU-Cascades’ supporters, and OSU and OSU-Cascades alumni, and are invited to the presentation. In the address, President Ray will cover recent significant achievements of the land grant university in research and licensing, enrollment, philanthropy and new facilities.

It will also include the expansion of OSU-Cascades into a four-year university and its anticipated educational, economic and community impact in Central Oregon. OSU-Cascades Vice President Becky Johnson will join President Ray for a question-and-answer session.

The reception and presentation are free and will take place at The Riverhouse from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. The reception is hosted by the OSU Alumni Association.
